Hair Extension Consultation Process

There are many factors to consider when choosing hair extensions. Your hair texture, density, lifestyle and goals are all taken into consideration during the consultation process. Do you work out a lot? Are you an avid swimmer? Are you someone that likes to put their hair up in a high ponytail? These are the types of questions you may be asked at your consultation appointment. Your stylist will perform a complimentary color match to ensure we choose the closest possible shade of extensions for you. Please note, although there are extensive color options available, custom coloring may be necessary. Hair Extension Maintenance and Care

Bristle Brush 2x Daily - Use a boar bristle brush or a Wet Brush at least 2x daily to remove any knots or tangles. Gather the hair into a ponytail and hold securely close to the scalp. Carefully begin brushing from the ends up towards the scalp. Brush your hair before getting it wet to avoid tangles while washing. 

Use a Sulfate-Free and Paraben-Free Shampoo - When washing, being by massaging shampoo into the scalp area first using a “Z’ formation. Do not use a circular motion or flip head upside down. Part hair while rinsing to rinse shampoo completely from the scalp. Leaving any product on the scalp area may result in itchiness. Apply conditioner only to the middle and ends of your hair. Do not put conditioner at the point of attachment to avoid slippage. 

Towel Dry Your Hair as much as possible before blowdrying and make sure to use a leave-in conditioner or heat protectant before blowdrying or heat styling. Use professional grade products to care for your extensions as recommended by your hair stylist. 

Leave-in Conditioner - Before swimming, lightly wet your hair and apply a leave-in conditioner on the ends. Tie in a loose ponytail or braid. Be aware that ingredients in some sunscreens (Avebenzone, Octocrylene) may turn blonde hair yellow or orange and cause discoloration. 

Brush Hair Before Bed and Wear a Loose Braid. Do not go to bed with wet hair as it can cause matting may ruin your extension hair. Using a silk pillowcase or bonnet will also help protect against friction that can lead to dryness and matting. Silk is a more breathable fabric than traditional cotton bedding to help avoid night sweating.

Do not attempt to color your own hair at home. 

Additional notes for Tape Ins and K-tip extensions: Do not wash hair for at least 24 hours to allow your newly applied extensions to adhere completely. Keep hot tools away from the point of attachment when styling to ensure extensions do not melt or fuse together. Avoid oil based and alcohol based products on point of attachment area.

A removal of your tape in extensions with a wash and blow dry. Does not include re-taping or re-installation service.

Re-taping - $25 per pack. 
This service is for tape in extensions that are already removed off your natural hair. We use an ultra secure tape to replace the adhesive on your extensions, prepping them for reinstallation. 

Micro Ring Weft Installation* - $150 per row

Micro Ring Weft Maintenance - $50 per row . Adding a wash and blowout is recommended. If you are NOT adding a wash and blowout, please come with your hair clean and dry.
